starting point
Justin was ready to launch Amplified Electric and wanted to ensure his business started off on the right foot—with a polished, professional image that would set him apart. As a busy electrician with limited time, he needed someone who could not only help define and establish his brand but also assist with the technical aspects of starting a business. From naming the business to creating a cohesive brand identity and managing the foundational setup, Justin trusted me to handle the details so he could focus on his work.
the goal
]The goal for Amplified Electric was to create a brand that exuded professionalism while staying true to Justin’s core values—a deep passion for his craft and a genuine dedication to understanding and meeting each client's unique needs. It was equally important to set everything up in a way that minimized the time and effort required from Justin while ensuring the brand aligned with his preferences and long-term business goals. From the visual identity to the technical setup, every step was designed to give Justin a strong foundation and allow him to focus on what he does best.
the Name
When naming the business, the goal was to choose something bold, unique, and memorable—something that would stand out in the market while laying the groundwork for future growth and scalability. Rather than using his name, Justin opted for Amplified Electric, a name that reflects both the energy and professionalism he brings to every project.
During the naming process, I conducted thorough research on businesses with similar names in close proximity and ensured the availability of a suitable domain and social media handles. This allowed us to secure a name that was not only aligned with Justin’s vision but also practical and easy to establish across digital platforms.
the Branding
The Amplified Electric brand was designed to be bold, confident, and highly recognizable. We started with a strong text-based logo that conveys professionalism and reliability—qualities essential for building trust in the residential and commercial electrical industry. The bold typography reinforces a no-nonsense, straightforward approach, giving potential clients confidence in Justin’s ability to manage projects with expertise and precision.
For the colour palette, red served as the foundation, reflecting Justin’s preference for a vibrant, high-energy look. We balanced the boldness of red with complementary tones to keep the brand polished and professional. To further tie the brand to the

To meet Melissa’s needs and budget, I created a one-page website that offers the same polished look and feel as a full multi-page site. The site was built with a clean, modern design that reflects her professionalism and expertise, while providing a solid foundation she can easily expand on in the future. Every element was thoughtfully crafted to ensure her website makes a strong impression and clearly communicates what her business stands for.
To enhance the site visually, I also coordinated a mini brand photo session, giving Melissa access to professional, on-brand images. These photos added a personalized touch to the website, helping to reinforce her brand identity and create a cohesive, high-quality digital presence.
