Meet Mai: The Designer Bringing Our Brands to Life

Mai Mongelous, Senior Brand & Visual Designer

Brand strategy and start-ups have become a huge focus for me—and I love it. But while I handle the strategy side of branding, I knew I needed a designer who could bring these brands to life visually.

That’s where Mai Mongelous comes in. She’s an incredibly talented and versatile graphic designer who has quickly become an essential part of my team. With a strong focus on logo development and website design, she’s helped me elevate my services and provide even more value to my clients.

When working on branding projects, Mai and I collaborate closely to ensure that every brand’s vision is fully realized. I develop the strategy—identifying the right positioning, messaging, and brand personality—while Mai brings her technical expertise and design skills to craft a visual identity that aligns seamlessly with that strategy. Whether it’s designing logos, refining typography, or building out cohesive brand elements, she ensures that each brand feels intentional, polished, and ready to make an impact.

Mai has also played a key role in redesigning the brand guidelines we create for clients. These documents serve as a roadmap for maintaining brand consistency, and with her refined design approach, we can now deliver more polished, cohesive, and user-friendly brand assets that businesses can confidently use across all touchpoints.

Beyond branding, Mai’s background in UX design adds immense value to our website clients. While I love building sites and getting into the nitty-gritty of styling and coding, I often struggle with the initial design vision and overall aesthetic. That’s where Mai shines. She creates detailed visual mock-ups of websites that we can present to clients for approval. These mock-ups serve as the blueprint for the final site, allowing me to focus on executing the build with a clear direction in mind. The result? Websites that not only function beautifully but are also designed with purpose and intention.

Since we began working together, Mai has made a huge impact—not only for my clients but for my own rebrand. Her creativity, attention to detail, and ability to transform ideas into stunning visuals have been invaluable. I’m beyond excited for what’s ahead and so grateful to have her as part of my team!
